This site is also a resource for polyamorous Australians, their friends, relatives and supporters, and anyone who is curious to find out more about polyamory.
Polyamory has been defined as the philosophy and practice of loving more than one person at a time with honesty and integrity. The term Polyamory was coined in the late 80's by a pagan Priestess, Morning Glory Zell, and defines a range of different lifestyle alternatives. Some belong to an organised religion, and some don't. Some have children, and some don't. Some are currently looking for new relationships, and some aren't. We are of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, occupations, and political persuasions.

This site makes no claims to represent anyone but itself, but is intended to be a "stepping stone" for those new to polyamory - you may then follow the links to a polyamory support group that is in your area or if there isn't a group in your area - we can assist you with publicity, advice and support in organizing your own group.

So you found our community on the edge of the web? Time to get started then! After you've registered here. You can then login upon confirming your account.
An activation e-mail should have been sent to the e-mail address you registered with. If you did not receive this e-mail be sure to check junk mail folder or contact the administrator asap!
Now you're ready to edit your profile. Simply login and click the View Your Profile or Update Your Profile link on the right menu labeled Profile. From here you'll see many aspects of your profile of which you can change from your edit profile page.
You've now got a crash course in the basics! Look around and see what we have to offer. You might be surprised by the features here and find yourself never wanting to leave!
A few people have been reporting issues with wiggio.com's (lack of) user-friendliness. At the meet up last week, the group decided that our primary website will again be www.meetup.com/Brisbane-polyamorists/
The reason we moved to wiggio.com was because the meetup.com group cost money each month to maintain the site. We decided at the gathering however that one of the members is happy to keep paying the monthly fee and those present at the actual meet up each month can contribute a gold coin donation to him towards running costs if they wish. The Meetup website is more user-friendly than Wiggio. I will still be maintaining the Wiggio group as a backup site until such time as it does not seem necessary, but it is one and the same group as the Brisbane Polyamorists Meetup group on meetup.com.
Hi there, hope everyone is still keeping warm with loved ones.Spring is just around the corner & love is in the air!
Our last country Poly social on the Queen's Birthday weekend, 14th June, was a great success.It was well attended by 30+ people, some camping overnight, others visiting or staying at a Bed’n’Breakfast.A wide range of folks and families from Pagans to Professionals enjoyed the relaxed country farmlet & bush surrounds.
The weather was perfect with sunny days and frosty, fresh mornings.Lots of fires to stay cosy and great laid-back company and shared camp cooking & meals.
The Hot Tub was full and some took up the challenge to ride “Zena” – the feisty mule!!!
If you missed the Country Poly get-away, it’s on again running on the MELBOURNE CUP WEEKEND-FRI 29th OCT to 2nd TUES NOVEMBER.
Our next PolyOz social in Bendigo will be on SUN 19th September.
